Timothy Johnson
Dr. Timothy K. Johnson purchased the dental practice, renaming it TJ Family and Implant Dentistry, in June 2016. Dr. Johnson provides a wide array of dental procedures, including exams, fillings, extractions, dentures, partials, Invisalign, bleaching, root canals, periodontal procedures, endodontic procedures, and as the name of the practice suggests, implants. His philosophy is to provide the best care for each patient just as he would his friends and family.
History
Dr. Johnson grew up in nearby Huntsville, TX and earned his undergraduate degree in computing science from Sam Houston State University before attending the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston and earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2013.
He then furthered his training at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine Knoxville, working in a private practice affiliated with the university hospital. He greatly expanded on his expertise during the year-long residency.
Personal Life
In his free time, Dr. Johnson enjoys swimming, movies, building computers, reading, and spending time with his family and friends, including his two cats! He is also an Eagle Scout and has occasionally served in adult leadership positions and taught various merit badges.
